Seridux (original name Ruesid) is a Kingdom Hearts fan character originally from Carona, a world based on the game Threads of Fate (also known as Dewprism).
They are a member of Organization XIII, titled "The Luminous Guardian", originally being their 13th member until Roxas joined, where their rank would be changed to Rank 0. Their rank remained the same even after Xion's addition to the group. By the time of Days, they have been a member for 2 years.
They battle with a pair of gauntlets called Aeon's Blessing and their Attribute is Dew, magic they primarily use for defensive spells like casting protective barriers around themself, but can be used offensively as well.

If you haven't played the game Threads of Fate (aka Dewprism), spoilers ahead!

Their real name is Ruesid, and they are a Doll created nearly 1,000 years ago by the greatest of the Aeons, Valen, for the purpose of resurrecting him so he may use his relic, the Dewprism, to destroy and recreate the world with himself as its god. He sees the universe as tainted by darkness and evil and seeks to purify everything with the Dewprism's light. During his research while creating the Dewprism he learned of other worlds, and placed Ruesid in another world as a back-up plan in case his enemies found and destroyed the other Dolls on his home world. They were an experimental Doll, and like many of his other Dolls, had a flaw in that their Life Stone could generate portals to other worlds, but initially the locations of the portals it created could not be controlled and would lead to different worlds.So Ruesid, who awoke from their slumber more than 70 years ago, began traversing different worlds until they could locate Carona, taking on different forms to better fit in. But as time went on, they began to forget the details of their home world and so would have to explore each location to determine if they had landed in the right place. Keeping their distance from others, especially after a particularly traumatic incident in which their trust was broken, led to them becoming shy and socially awkward, which did not help as each world had its own social customs and rules. By the time Ruesid gained control of the locations of where the portals would lead, they could no longer remember the true location of Carona.Eventually, they would be attacked by the Heartless and lose their heart, and despite their non-human nature, the magic innate in their human-like body still allowed them to become a Nobody, which also allowed them the use of the Corridors of Darkness for travel. However, losing their heart caused their magic to become weaker, for reasons they did not understand. They were found and recruited by Xigbar, who had his suspicions and kept an eye on them.
